Supplier Data Terms
These terms apply to hotels, lodges, camps, activity and experience providers, transport companies and other suppliers ("you", "Supplier") who provide rates, availability or content to TravelBookingWidgets, or use the supplier portal. They are accepted by confirming our outreach email or clicking through on first login to the portal.
1. Who we are
TravelBookingWidgets ([COMPANY LEGAL NAME]) is a technology provider to registered tour operators. We store your rates and content privately and make them available only to registered travel-business users of the platform, so they can build accurate quotes for their own customers. We never publish your rates to the public. We are not a booking agent: we do not sell your services, take bookings for you, or take payment on your behalf.
2. The permission you give us
You permit us to receive, structure and normalise, store, update and display the rates and content you supply (rates, bands, seasons, validity, taxes and fees, inclusions and exclusions, cancellation conditions, descriptions, images) solely to registered travel-business users of the platform, and within quotes, itineraries and documents those operators prepare for their own customers.
3. Accuracy and updates are your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of the rates and information you supply, and for keeping them current. We record what you supply — including residency bands (for example EAC citizen, Kenya resident, African citizen, non-resident), child and age bands, seasons, per-person or per-unit basis, validity windows and mandatory extras — as provided, without flattening them.
You can update your rates via the supplier portal or by replying to our outreach. Quotes and itineraries may show when a rate was supplied and until when it is valid, and rates past their validity may be marked as stale.
4. No booking guarantee
We offer no guarantee of inclusion, bookings, business volumes or payment. Operators contract with you directly; we are not a party to those contracts and accept no responsibility for their conduct, their quotations or their settlement. The platform disclaims responsibility for how operators use the information you supply.
5. Confidential and net rates
Tell us which rates are confidential, private, net or commissionable, and which operators (if any) may see them. Confidential rates are restricted to the specific operators you name. Operators using the platform are contractually barred from publishing net rates publicly — catalog data is for private quoting only. If you believe a rate has been misused or exposed, contact us and we will act under section 6.
6. Corrections, removal and withdrawal
You may ask us to correct or remove any rate, content or contact record at any time (via the portal or by email); we act within [5] business days. You may withdraw from the platform entirely. Quotes already issued by operators before your update are handled directly between you and the operator concerned.
7. Content and intellectual property
You keep ownership of everything you supply. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, structure and display your supplied content to registered users as described above. Only supply content you own or have permission to use — including photographs. If you did not supply it and do not own it, do not upload it.
8. Your contact's personal data
We process the business contact details of supplier contacts (name, work email, correspondence) to manage outreach and the portal, under our Privacy Notice (/legal/privacy). Suppliers' contacts have the rights described there.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified via the portal or the outreach email thread. Questions: hello@travelbookingwidgets.com.
