NAIROBI
Met at the arrivals hall by your guide and driven through the Ngong Hills suburbs to a quiet garden retreat. Nothing to do tonight but settle in.

Nairobi
AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast with the giraffes, then south to Amboseli, where the biggest tuskers in Africa walk in front of the tallest mountain on the continent. A full day among the swamps of Enkongo Narok. Kilimanjaro usually shows itself at first light — be on the veranda at six.

MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
A light-aircraft hop over the Rift Valley to the Mara. Your guide meets you on the airstrip and the game drive starts the moment you land. Lift-off at dawn, drifting over the Mara River as the herds wake below, then champagne breakfast wherever the balloon comes down. Packed lunch, full tank, no clock. Follow the lions, wait at the river crossing points, picnic under a lone acacia.

DIANI BEACH
A final early drive, then a flight to the coast. By sunset your feet are in the Indian Ocean. Snorkel the Kisite marine park by traditional dhow, look for dolphins on the way out, Swahili seafood lunch on Wasini Island. A free day. Pool, spa, the long white beach, or the Colobus Conservation centre down the road. A late check-out and a short hop to Ukunda for your flight home.
